Triple Triad Advance
Triple Triad Advance for the Final Fantasy Fan

Here's another site I enjoy playing online. It's called Triple Triad Advance.
If you ever played the card games in Final Fantasy 8 and 9, the game is pretty simular. The game curerrently features 18 playable card decks, featuring all your favorite characters from Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Lance and Dragon warriors all your favorite Triple Triad rules such as Same, Plus, Samewall, Pluswall, Combo and Elemental.

This site project was created with the intention of providing a free place for final fantasy fanatics and card players to gather and play Triple Triad online vs other players in real time since it opened in January 2003, starting with the Basic Triple Triad rules, adding new rules to the game as time went on.

I've been playing this game for awhile and believe me ... it's extremely addictive. Especially when you're winning. Because each point you earn allows you to buy more cards and you can also trade with others. Another way to gain cards is play in the online tournaments or create one for others for a challenge if you think you have what it takes to be a TTA master.

Me? I'm still working on the winning part. Log in and enjoy. If not the game, the rpg game in the card palace. See you there.

Yuffie Speaks - Forsaken HomepageI'm not big into playing games online or getting too involved in one website versus another and there are a few websites I will actually frequent over and over again because it's that enjoyable. One such site is Gaia online.

It's easy to use and a majority of the "gaians" are friendly and very helpful if your new to the community. When you first log in, you get the option of creating your own gaian identity with clothes and furniture for your gaian world home. You get gold you can use to purchase items for your avatar, if you don't like the way it smiles or the expression on its face you can change it at any time as well as your hair, clothes and items.

There's an interactive community called Gaia Towns where you can meet the gaians that live in this virtual world, shake the trees or kick rocks for more gold and hopefully soon random battles with monsters as demonstrated in a recent anime convention in California. On August 4th they will be featured in the upcoming Otakon convention which I'm sad to say won't be attending due to financial constraints. But I am looking forward to the new battle systems in the Gaia Towns. If your not into the whole virtual world ordeal there are forums and marketplaces where you can trade the items you no longer want or to have a text role playing experiences in the guilds.

There are strict rules to posting in guilds because everyone needs to respect other writers helping to create, form and tell the story of their adventures online. But once you understand the rules of each individual guilds it is quite the experience to live an adventure through text with other gaians, which is much more fun than trying to read a book you're not really interested in. In the guilds you help form the worlds of the story teller and change the outcome of the story with every move you make.

If your into games with more challenges than you can throw a stick at, Gaia has a variety of games from fishing, slot machines, card tables to a word bump game that will keep you occupied.

Although this is a free site for gamers, they do appreciate donations to keep the server running and to produce more quality games for all Gaians. I recommend this site to gamers surfing the web while waiting on the next new game to hit the shelves. *cough* Final Fantasy 12 *cough*

For more information about this game or to experience Gaiaonline for yourselves visit www.gaiaonline.com and register. If you need further assistance just find me YuffietheGreat on gaia or post a comment on my homepage and I'll get to you as soon as possible.

I have found a 3D Chat Program that allows you to go one step beyond a screen name. I'm talking about www.IMVU.com.

You work on a point system much like the gold system on www.gaiaonline.com where you can buy clothes, furniture and so on for your avatars. You can be anything you want to be.

Although this is also a free site for gamers, they do appreciate donations to register your screen name to keep the server running. Once you register you also have the option to create new scenes, stickers and clothes for your avatar or sell it to others for more credit. I also enjoy that I can move around, fight with others, hug them, laugh and be expressive with my avatar.

For more information about this game or to experience IMVUchat for yourselves visit www.IMVU.com and download their chat program. If you need further assistance just find me YuffietheGreat on gaia or post a comment on my homepage and I'll get to you as soon as possible.
