  1. Feeling anoid by this soul numbing void, sweet little outlets you've employed. Alone in your room, welcoming the gloom You ponder all the things you've destroyed. Love, solace, hope, kinship, peace, self. All things you've tossed away and toyed with-And placed away on a shelf for safe keeping,a reminder of the void. The chemical calm invades time and space. Now all fades to her icy embrace, alas, she shadows your impassive face. Now no one remembers who you are... you've become as distent as a dying star- Who'd wish upon something so vastly far? Do you remember your loved ones? Believe me everyone has tons, well they are the souls you now avoid, as you delve deeper down the void. Rest now in your gloom,in your grave. Forget all those who love and save, but you can't can you?,for they gave you a reason to live...They've given your hope to remain driven. Sleep now, walk in the shoes of slumber. The high is as heavy as lumber, holding you down to a new earth. Away from the one you've awaken to the moment of your birth. Everything has been taken, Void your solid foundation shaken. You fell asleep lost and anoid, only to a wake within this void. (This Poem is named Void.It is a poem of loneliness and addiction. It was writen for an old friend of mine in Michigan who found himself cought in the horrors of what drugs can do.Hollywood makes drug use look fun in some films but they're truely missing the point.)
